Announced the opening of the company's 370-square metre Intelliden I-Lab equipped with router, switch, firewall, optical and storage equipment from major networking vendors, and able to simulate business environments in excess of tens of thousands of network resources.
Intelliden said the I-Lab can be used in a number of ways, either in-situ or remotely using the Intelliden VPN, for: Customer innovation: allows customers to test off-net in a secure lab environment new applications such as the integration of the Intelliden software with their billing engines, CRM tools and network management applications, with support from Intelliden certified engineers and no impact on their existing installation. Partner integration: a place where systems-integration companies and managed services providers can test their reference architectures and application integration efforts by simulating an enterprise, government, service provider or educational IP environment. Network equipment vendor testing: to ensure vendor hardware interoperates with the Intelliden R-Series web-based and API-based unified control plane.
