Single word or phrase |
| To search for records containing a single word or phrase, use the default option in the dropdown list to the right of the search entry box, entitled "This exact word or phrase". |

Multiple keywords |
| To search for records containing a number of keywords ocurring in any order in a record, select the "All of these words" option in the dropdown list to the right of the search entry box. |

Truncation searching |
| Use the asterisk (*) symbol at the end of a word to retrieve records containing variations on that word stem. For example, this search would retrieve records containing the phrase 'core router' and the phrase 'core routers': |

Case ignored |
| There is no need to use upper case letters for proper nouns or acronyms since 'case' is ignored by the search engine. |
